AJ is restless. Here is another set of pictures he took of a group of Lamborghinis.
2 Gallardo Spyders, 3 matching yellow Murcielagos and a white LP640 Roadster.
Cruising the highways is great fun, but for a true performance driving challenge we organized a track day at the Monticello Motorclub. A 4.1 mile racetrack with elevation changes, a long straight good for 170mph+ in some of the faster cars on slicks and top notch facilities and staff.
Day started with drivers classroom instructions - assigning professional instructors and addressing the basic racing line, flags and safety concerns.
Arena Motors located in Lodi, NJ hosted a Bikini Car Wash/BBQ for their clients and friends. Beautiful weather and a great turnout. Everyone enjoyed delicious food and drinks while watching three girls in bikinis take care of the cars. Not a bad way to pass time on a Saturday afternoon...
Thanks for the hospitality Steve and Mel!
About 40 cars gathered for a morning drive on Sunday, July 25th. It started at the Executive Auto Storage in Englewood, NJ. The guys there were great hosts as always, served us breakfast, regulated parking and even took care of some minor issues with cars right on the spot. Thank you!
Lots of fun on the roads - great group of cars and perfect weather. We drove upstate and crossed over to Connecticut. After a rest stop we went on to the second leg of the drive to Hyatt in Old Greenwich for brunch.
Two lightweight Porsches on two different days:
Will\'s white 997 GT3 and Dave\'s orange 997 GT3 RS.
Thanks AJ for the pictures!
A morning photoshoot with three verde ithaca Lamborghinis: two LP560-4s and one LP640.
There are another four verde Lamborghinis in the area and hopefully we\'ll be able to get them all together for an all green photoshoot sometime in the near future.
We have been trying to put together a Bikini Car Wash since summer 2009. The event was, however, doomed, since it rained 4 Sundays in a row and at the end it was too cold, so event was canceled. We tried again this year, and although the date got pushed once due to rain and the final date still had rain in the forecast we went ahead with it anyway.
A little over 40 cars showed up. We had a quick morning drive and finished the drive at a warehouse in a quiet industrial area, where we had BBQ, watched the girls wash the cars and enjoyed a fun afternoon.
Another set of pictures from our own AJ.
Cobalt Blue Turbo - AJ\'s personal car with some very nice cosmetic and "go fast" modifications.
Black Turbo Cab - Gregory\'s Turbo Cab, very clean car. New 997.2 Turbo Cab is on its way to him so he wanted to have some good shots to remember the car with.
R8s - One of them is Dino\'s Turbo R8 in white. Heffner Performance did an outstanding job with the car, very fast and fun. The other is Opie\'s stock R8.
Valentino Balboni, 53 Lamborghinis, 1 Helicopter, 80 smiling participants, gorgeous weather = BullFest|2010. An incredible event that brought together record amount of Lamborghinis for the NY Tristate area.
The day started at a very scenic location with George Washington Bridge and Manhattan as the backdrop. The cars going downhill the narrow road covered with trees kept us guessing what model it was from just the exhaust note. Little by little the grounds were covered with 20+ Gallardos, 20+ Murcielagos, several Diablos and a monster Lamborghini - the LM002.
Photoshoot | 2 Scuderias & F360
AJ is at it again. This time he got two Scuderias and a 360 for a photoshoot.
Thanks AJ, keep up the good work!
